We are mid sixties retired schoolteachers. We have a daughter and family living in Melbourne, another daughter living in Perth and a son and family living on the Gold Coast. We are hoping to connect with people and homes in those three locations.

Two story spacious home. Three bedrooms, all with an ensuite. Also outdoor enclosed shower on back deck. Front deck, large lounge room and sun room are all excellent for relaxing or entertaining. One car garage. Plantation shutters throughout. Split conditioner air conditioner down stairs and ducted air conditioner upstairs. Pool available to use in estate. Two hundred metres from Fly Point beach and three hundred metres from Little Beach. Twenty five minutes from Newcastle airport.

We had an unforgettable holiday experience swapping homes with Rod and Catherine in Nelson Bay. Their spacious, modern home catered to every need: comfortable beds, recliner chairs and couches, air conditioning both upstairs and downstairs, and a gigantic TV equipped with Netflix and other apps - perfect for family movie nights and gaming sessions. Their location was very convenient, with close proximity to the beach, shops, and a variety of facilities like the wonderful community pool for the estate’s residents – just opposite their house! In addition to the three ensuite bathrooms there was also a lovely hot & cold outdoor shower which was great when returning from the beach or pool. The house's cleanliness and tidiness, coupled with the indispensable air conditioning, ensured our comfort throughout the stay. Rod and Catherine's attention to detail and care extended to looking after our cat, Kiara, superbly and leaving our home clean and tidy upon departure. Their excellent communication before, during, and after the house swap made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Rod and Catherine as exceptional house swap partners for anyone seeking a memorable getaway in Nelson Bay.
