Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Sandy Bay, TAS
Matt works as a Manager at the University and Fiona is a Sonographer. Our boys are aged 23 and 21 and occasionally travel with us. We all enjoy the beach and the outdoors. We love our holidays and have travelled as a family extensively throughout Australia, Asia and Europe. We have a 4 year old labrador Jobe, who loves going for a walk. We would gladly look after your pets. In 2015, we did a swap to Cooroy, and to Brisbane in 2016.

Our brick home is Federation style in a quiet culdesac. We are 100m from the University of Tasmania. The local shopping centre is a 5 minute walk away with supermarkets, specialty shops and restaurants. Salamanca Market is a 25 minute walk away, and the City 35 mins walk. We are 100 m from public transport and close to sailing clubs. We renovated the house in 2006, and again in 2017, and the living areas, kitchen and bathrooms are modern. Three bedrooms have a queen sized bed and the fourth a double. Our home has a wood heater and is also heated/cooled by a reverse cycle air conditioner. The floors are polished Tas oak in the kitchen and living areas and carpeted elsewhere. Our backyard is level and enclosed, suitable for children and outdoor entertaining.

We had a terrific time at Fiona and Matt's beautiful house in Sandy Bay, Hobart. Very welcoming family and gave us lots of tips on what to see and do during our stay. They were great guests at our house and left the place spick and span. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
