Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Coolum Beach / Noosa, Sunshine Coast, QLD
Married couple aged in our 60s, empty nesters, looking forward to working less and holidaying more, including lots of house swaps in Australia. Our main residence is a house in Brisbane but we also own a house at Coolum Beach on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast. Ideally, we would like to swap with other couples in the over 50 age bracket for periods of 4 to 8 weeks but please email with any ideas or suggestions. Swaps do not need to be simultaneous which offers additional flexibility. Our house in Brisbane could also be available for a house swap. This is our second time as members of Aussie House Swap. We originally joined when the site first started and enjoyed several wonderful swaps but had to leave for a couple of years when our children were arranging weddings, etc.

Renovated beach house located in the quiet, leafy, central area of Coolum Beach, a few streets directly behind the surf club and main patrolled beach. It is an easy level stroll to the Pacific Ocean, shops, cafes and restaurants. The house is double brick, lowset, with reverse cycle air-conditioning, and security grilles on every door and window. There is an outdoor under cover entertaining area for those warm summer evenings and an open sunny area for cool winter mornings. A local bus stop is just around the corner, travelling directly to the Sunshine Coast Airport, Noosa and Maroochydore.

Coolum Beach is centrally located between Mooloolaba and Noosa on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast. The area is famous for surfing, boating, fishing and all water sports. Visit Australia Zoo, Underwater World, Maleny, Montville, Ginger Factory, Aussie World, Noosa National Park, Eumundi Markets. Drive north to Fraser Island and Hervey Bay.

Noel and Jenny were very good people to deal with,as we took several years to plan and enjoy the non simultaneous swaps and they were very patient. Also they left our place in perfect condition. Their house was very well located with a short walk to the bus stop and to the main shopping strip.The strip had a good choice of shops, cafes and restaurants and on several days had,just across the road,street-singers and a surfing competition.The local surf club has an award for the best value dining surf club in Australia and it was well worth us taking out membership for the dining discounts we received. Noel & Jenny were a fantastic couple to swap with. Noel communicated extremely clearly about all aspects of the swap which made it such an easy process. They were such a pleasure to chat with & seemed very friendly & honest. Noel & Jenny's holiday house is in an awesome location on the Sunshine Coast. They are a lovely leafy walk or scoot to Coolum beach. The area offers so many spectacular sights, attractions & also so easy to totally relax. Their house is totally set up for total relaxation, immaculately clean & comfortable. Noel & jenny were the perfect guests in our holiday unit, always communicating their dates/times clearly. They looked after everything & left it clean-thankful for this great swap with a very lovely couple!
