We are a Bali inspired property, currently operating as a B & B but would houseswap as a house. We are a 2 minute walk to Newell Beach, a beautiful palm fringed white sand tropical beach. The home is set within a tropical garden compound and is pavillion style. Guest accommodation, comprising two bedrooms, with fans, air-conditioning, QS beds, cool marble floors, bar fridges, etc. is situated facing the main house, The main house has high vaulted ceilings and is open plan and comprises: 1 large bedroom on the upper level with views of the sea, a large bathroom with double sinks and shower. Downstairs is a kitchen/meals area, a lounge and TV area. There is wireless internet. The main house is also air-conditioned with fans in each room. Mantaray is well situated between regional attractions such as the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest and the Tablelands. Port Douglas with world class restaurants is a 20 minute drive and from here there are many operators offering reef trips. Cape Tribulation is an hours drive through stunning rainforest and the Tablelands with waterfalls, crater lakes, dairies, wetlands, again 1-2 hours drive.
Newell Beach is a tropical white sand beach and is a 2 minute walk from the back gate.
Nearby there are wildlife attractions, such as the Wildlife Habitat, showcasing tropical birds, and Australian native fauna, Hartleys Creek Crocodile Farm and crocodile spotting river tours, golf and walks in magnificent rainforest.
