House Swap with me

I live in the beautiful Bay of Islands, NZ. Over the summer months I Airbnb my house. In the winter when things are a bit quieter here & like to go places. This year, I want to head to Brisbane for my sisters 60th birthday. I also have 2 grown up children in Brisbane & 2 grandchildren. As I get older, I prefer my own space. So what better, than to swap for another home in Brisbane. I think winter is the best time to be here. Although a little cooler, there are not so many tourists during this time. So you can enjoy the beaches, trails & village almost on your own. I have a 4 bedroom Airbnb overlooking the Opua Harbour in the beautiful Bay of Islands, New Zealand. We have amazing hiking trails, stunning scenery & also kiwi living right on our doorstep. Winter is a perfect time to explore the Bay while there is not so many tourists around. We have a wood burner with plenty of firewood for the chilly nights.

The House

Watch the harbour activities and ever changing vista from the deck of our clean and comfortable home. We are situated just above the car ferry on the Russell side of the Opua harbour. The ferry cost is $18 per car & runs a continual service. Or you can walk on for just $2 per person. Please note that although you have sole occupancy of the house, the property has another cottage & resident in it. The driveway is also shared.

The things I love about living here

The stunning view, is always changing. Just watching the boats come and go is full entertainment. We have kiwi living on our doorstep, so kiwi spotting on one of our local tracks at night is very special. I have a woodstove & plenty of fire wood to keep the house cosy & warm.
