We are a family of 4 who love to travel and experience new things. I am a civil engineer and my wife has just established a national charity for the education, action and citizen science of climate and biodiversity. Our son is in his second year of high school and he loves riding his motorbike, going fishing and playing soccer. Our daughter has just entered 2nd grade and likes dancing, swimming and wants to get into horse riding. Due to my wife being French, three of us are fluent in the language while I have been learning for 10 yrs but am still yet to master it. We're equally at home playing on the beach, walking through the bush or experiencing the city life.

This is the perfect house if you want to get away from it all to relax in nature, while only being 45 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD. Our single storey brick house is located on 40 acres of bush land where you see beautiful bird life, wallabies, the occasional echidna and even some koalas. There is a swimming pool, air-conditioning and fans to keep you cool plus a fireplace and outdoor fir pit to keep you warm in the winter months.
There are two bedrooms with Queen beds, two kids rooms with single beds and a yoga room that we can put some inflatable mattresses in if needed.
You can spend your days exploring the property, grazing from the vege garden and fruit trees, or exploring the nearby villages of Samford and Dayboro where there are many cafes and restaurants.

We are on an elevated location, surrounded by beautiful Australian bush and only minutes drive to Lake Samsonvale. The two neighbouring villages, Samford and Dayboro, have plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from with live music on the weekends.
There are historical tours of the towns, and the Samford Museum gives you some hands-on experience of what the life of an early settler was like.
There are many water holes for swimming, waterfalls and a rainforest walk at the top of Mt Glorious.
If you need to get your city fix, it is only 45 minutes drive to Brisbane or you can drive to Ferny Grove and catch the train. You can also be on the beaches of the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast within 90 mins.
