We are a happy 61 y.o married professional couple (Sandra & Alan) who love our life in Melbourne. We really enjoy travelling, new experiences, making new friends and showing guests the beauty of our region. We have recently completed a 4 month overseas reciprocal exchange (different website). The House

Our stylish 1920's family home is an ideal retreat in a perfect location to explore Melbourne. In 2021, we fully renovated our huge chef friendly kitchen and luxury bathroom to a very high standard, with walk in shower and spa bath. There is a large lounge with seating for 8 people, 3 good sized bedrooms with ample storage, a separate laundry room, plus a second toilet. Outside there is a large covered entertainment space with a large table adjoining a small landscaped garden area. Our house comes with central ducted heating for every room, air conditioning, cable TV and off street parking.

The things we love about living here

Located only 200m from a new modern train station, our house is just 18 minutes from the busy tourist centre of Melbourne and perfectly positioned to visit the popular nearby attractions. Carnegie is a very safe, vibrant, sought after neighborhood with tree lined streets and is known for its 40+ cafes, restaurants, and large supermarkets. Within a 5 min walk, we are spoiled for cuisine choices, including modern Australian, Thai, French, Korean BBQ, Indian, Greek, Chinese, burgers, piazza and more! We are only 1.9 km from the largest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere (Chadstone the fashion capital), 20 min drive to the beach, and easy access to the Dandenong Ranges and wineries.
