House Swap with us

We are a friendly family of three: Richard, Laura, and our 6-month-old daughter Josie. Richard is a proud Sydney local, born and raised, and runs his own property consultancy. Laura is originally from the UK and has lived in Sydney for the past 12 years. We’re excited to be heading back to the UK for a visit while Laura is on maternity leave, and we're looking forward to spending quality time with her family. We live in a beautifully located property just a short stroll from both Manly and Freshwater Beaches, with stunning ocean views. Our home is well-maintained, clean, and tidy, and we pride ourselves on treating others' homes with the same respect. We have no pets.

The Location

The Location

- Manly is one of those places that offers the best of both worlds, cosmopolitan buzz and a relaxed vibe. It's just a short yet incredibly scenic ferry ride from the CBD and boasts a vibrant coastal atmosphere, with its Norfolk Island pine-lined promenade, sprawling three-kilometre beach (so big, in fact, that it's patrolled by a total of three surf lifesaving clubs) and fantastic oceanfront eateries.

Things to do in Manly:

- The 10km Manly Scenic Walkway beings at the Spit Bridge and passes sandy beaches, ancient Aboriginal sites and incredible lookouts

- Snorkel the aquatic reserve at Shelly beach

-Discover hidden harbour coves and beaches, such as Little Manly Cove and Collins Flat Beach

- 10min bus to Brookvale, which is home to a number of fantastic craft breweries, a gin/whiskey distillery and a thriving café culture with some of the best coffee roasters on the Northern Beaches.

-5 min walk to Freshwater Beach - wedged between two headlands, is a favourite spot amongst locals. It is where Duke Kahanamoku held his famous 1915 surfing demonstration that popularised surfing in Australia.

The northern headland provides excellent protection from the summer nor’easter and waves are consistent right along the beach, thanks to reliable sandbanks. An eight lane, 50m saltwater pool at the north end of the beach is a favourite with lap swimmers.

- If you are a keen golfer we are a very short drive to Warringah Golf Club, which is one of Sydney’s most popular courses for social golfers. The well-maintained 18-hole public golf course is easy to walk, with one small hill at the end.
