***Please note we are currently looking for short/medium term swap for 3-8week blocks (flexible++) in October and November while we renovate our family home in Melb and need a house to stay in inner north/northern suburbs***
Our beach house is a simple yet practical 3BR house with single combined toilet/bathroom/laundry. Inside, you will find Master and kids bedroom located upstairs, and on the ground floor, there is kitchen, lounge room, guest bedroom and bathroom. We have a very large deck outside, with table, chairs and couple of cane chairs to lounge on. The property is fully fenced (but not pet proof due to pesky resident wombat digging tunnels under the fence). In the back yard, we have large fully enclosed trampoline, and 2 small sheds with bikes (2 adult and 2 kids bikes, adult bike has additional toddler seat), 2 kids sized and one full sized kayak, small paddling pool you can fill for toddlers, and loads of outdoor games/play equipment. We have lots of native wildlife and parrots right at our doorstep, including wombats, kangaroos, possums and variety of birds.
We are 600m walk from the river jetty where you can fish from (and there is a nice playground right next to it), 1km walk from closest surf beach (beach no 4).

Venus bay is a small and quiet seaside town located about 200km from Melbourne in beautiful Gippsland. We have kilometres of gorgeous surf beach right at our doorstep, and are about 30km from Walkerville’s unspoilt magic beaches with rock pools and cave formations. The Tarwin river is also easily accessible and frequented by boat enthusiasts, kayakers and fishermen. We are about hour’s drive from Phillip Island and Wilson’s prom.
