We are a fun loving and active family with three daughters (6, 4 and 2). Mum Zoe is a Wedding Coordinator at one of the nearby Hunter Valley wineries and Dad Hamish is a Project Manager. We both grew up on farms ourselves, so when our girls came along, we wanted them to have the same lifestyle; freedom to be kids and surrounded by animals and nature. We moved to Bulga just two years ago and it really is our dream farm, we can't wait to share it with you! Prior to this we were living in Lake Macquarie and do miss the beach, so a swap on the coast is most ideal for us.

Enjoy the great outdoors! Picturesque hobby farm 1hr to Newcastle and 2.5hrs to Sydney. Ours is the quintessential Aussie farm stay experience. Collect fresh eggs from the chooks, pick your own veggies for dinner and throw some hay to the cows and horses. With a pool, cubby house and on site playground, it is a wonderland for the kids and a peaceful getaway for the adults.
We are surrounded by Wollemi National Park which makes for a beautiful and peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing on the porch or for those more adventurous, hiking to the top of the mountain. At night, we love to sit around the bonfire watching the stars.
ABOUT THE HOUSE - The house itself is cosy and comfortable. Open plan living/dining/kitchen surrounds the internal fireplace. * 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom inside offering King bed in the master, King single bunks (can sleep adults) and a cot or single floor mattress. * 4th Queen bedroom and 2nd bathroom is in a separate flat just across from the main house. * We have converted the shed into a huge second living area and it can sleep an additional 4 people should you require.
ABOUT THE ANIMALS - The house paddock is safely fenced to keep kids and dogs secure. We are flexible if you want to bring your own pets. Our dogs may or may not be here, again we’re flexible. The other animals mostly take care of themselves but do need an eye on their food and water everyday.

Bulga is a beautiful and peaceful rural village set at the base of the Wollemi National Park. In typical country style have a local pub (great schnitzel!) and service station / corner store. We also have free tennis courts and a playground. Major shops and amenities are just 20 minutes away in Singleton, whilst the award winning wineries of the Hunter Valley are just 30 minutes away.
