Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Glass House Mountains, Sunshine Coast, QLD
We are Phil and Elaine, a retired couple originally from the UK and emigrated to Australia in 2006. Our ideal holiday location would have great scenery, interesting shops, cafes/restaurants and access to golf courses. We are interested in visiting and exploring more places in Australia

Our home is located in the beautiful Glass House Mountains. The famous Australia Zoo is 7kms and the beaches of Sunshine coast 25 minutes away. The Sunshine Coast hinterland has to be our favourite area for spectacular views towards the coast line and the villages of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton are most definitely worth exploring. Beerwah is the nearest town which is 5 kms away with Woolworth and Aldi and many other stores available. Glass House Mountains township has a convenience store, chemist, butcher, post office and pub. There is a swimming pool, gym, skate park and loads of lovely parks around the area. There are so many markets which are mainly held on the weekends, too many to mention but the ultimate is Eumundi market held every Wednesday and Saturday is an absolute must for a good day out. We live in close proximity to the Bruce highway and the main train line which allows easy access to Brisbane which is 54kms away. There are so many gorgeous areas around us Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Coolum and of course Noosa, to mention a few, all these beautiful areas are within a good distance from us to explore within a day trip. As golfers we have visited many of the courses here in the Sunshine Coast area so can highly recommend playing golf in this area.
