We are a family of 6. I (Elise) am a primary school teacher/chaplain. Barton my husband is an engineer. We have four kids aged 6, 4, 3, and 7 months. We enjoy beach swims together, bush walks, lazy days at parks and snuggling up reading books together. We would treat your house with the utmost respect and care for it as if it were our own. We are new to the house swap idea and have a bit of free time between now and late 2024 so would like to explore more of the world around us (near and far) in that time. We love where we live and hope you will too.

Our house is a light filled, uncluttered and comfortable family home with alfresco dining and enjoyable yard areas.
The main bedroom features king bed, Aircon, ensuite and has a sunny outlook over a tree filled neighbourhood.
Our 3 girls sleep in a bedroom together which features bunk beds plus a smaller a toddler bed (toddler bed could be put away if not needed).
The third bedroom is currently set up as nursery with cot etc but this furniture could be swapped out for a king single bed for longer stays.
There are two living areas including a front room which has beautiful outlook onto the neighbouring park and catches the morning sun.
Our back lounge room has 60 inch TV, the most comfortable new recliner lounges and faces out over the backyard.
The grassy backyard features mango, lemon and orange trees (help yourself to some fruit if they are in season). We spend lots of time in the undercover alfresco area with comfortable furniture and lights for night-time entertaining. We also have a fire-pit and BBQ for your use.
There is plenty for kids both young and old to do with a large trampoline, sandpit, swing, inflatable waterslide jumping castle (for U10s) adventure cubby house and board games. We have lots of kids toys, books, scooters, bikes, highchairs. Everything you'd need to enjoy your stay here with a baby or children.
For swaps of greater distance we’ll leave our SUP and 2 adult mountain bikes behind which you’ll be welcome to use while here. If you are doing a longer stay and wanted access to our camping gear we can lend you that as there are so many great places to camp on the south coast close by.
We do not have any pets but are open to you bringing yours. Our back and front yards are fully fenced/gated.

Our home is situated in Unanderra across the road from a children’s playground and a short walking distance to tennis courts, a soccer field, bike crit track, and skate park. Public transport including train (90 min to Sydney) and buses are an easy 9 minute walk also. Our neighbourhood has plenty of food options within close walking distance including lovely little coffee shops, a stunning Italian restaurant, Thai food and more. There is also a Woolworths supermarket, chemists, post office, fruit & veg shop and liquor store just a short 7 min stroll away.
While here immerse yourself in the region's diverse landscapes, ranging from pristine golden beaches to lush rainforests and rolling hills. Feel the sand between your toes as you stroll along the picturesque coastline, or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. Explore the breathtaking escarpment that runs parallel to the coast, offering spectacular views and numerous bushwalking and mountain bike trails.
