We are an active retired couple interested in travel and camping, looking for the opportunity to travel anywhere in Australia or overseas. We appreciate the trust in letting strangers into your home and would care for it as our own. We have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Our home is very child friendly with a dedicated play room so very happy to have children stay.

The House

Our house is a large comfortable one level home with a large open play area (unused lounge room) off the open plan kitchen dining family area. The main bedroom and ensuite is one end of the house with a further 3 bedrooms and bathroom at the other end. It is all about relaxed living and fuss free. We have a barbecue, dining, lounge area outside overlooking a lake and large grassed area. We have a small very old dog who travels with us and wouldn’t mind having a well behaved dog stay here.

The things we love about living here

We love being within 15 to 20 minutes walk to either Maroochydore or Alexandra Headland beaches, Maroochy River and the sunshine plaza shopping centre and 5 minutes walk to the local cafe. We are a 30 minute drive to Noosa at the north of the coast or Caloundra to the south and Montville to the west on the Blackall Range. All are very popular tourist destinations. The Sunshine Coast is the ultimate family holiday place with so much to see and do.

The Location

Well known and popular tourist destination. Though pristine beaches are the main attraction there are lots of walking trails and tourist drives within a few kms along with National Parks and quaint country villages. We have lots of attractions to keep big and small kids happy…Sea Life Aquarium, Aussie World etc etc. and just 30 minutes to Australia Zoo. Brisbane city is about an hour south.
