Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Faulconbridge, "Blue Mountains", NSW
Hi There! We are a small family: Mum Lorraine (Musician) and Dad Peter (Engineer) plus our two girls, 13yo and 6yo. We live in the beautiful Blue Mountains of NSW backing onto bush. Our home is an unusual limestone design that Peter built over 30 years ago. It's not glossy and new, but it's very comfy and spacious. We don't have pets but love animals and will happily care for yours if they're friendly and gentle. We are non-smokers who will care for your home in the same way we would hope you'd care for ours. We'd love to swap on weekends and during NSW school holidays and we're also open to a longer term adventure if something mutually suitable comes up! We haven't done any swaps here yet but we have excellent feedback on Airbnb if you need references. :)

An unusual, character-filled limestone house backing onto National Park. Air conditioning as well as slow combustion fireplace. 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms, two entertaining areas and a large deck overlooking the bush. Spacious enough for two families, bring your friends!
It's paradise for kids: the backyard has a trampoline, tree swings, flying fox, hammock, a cubby and a sandpit. Inside there are loads of kids' toys, books, games, an overflowing dress-up box and even an art/craft space in the garage for painting and messy fun.
Fancy some drinks around the fire-pit under the stars? It's like camping only with comfy beds! There's also a large covered deck overlooking the bush with hanging chairs and a dining table so you can enjoy the outdoors no matter the weather.
There are bushwalks and bike trails at the back door, it's a 5 minute drive to Springwood Aquatic Centre (indoor heated) and we are close to the fire trail for riding or walking out to beautiful Faulconbridge Point, tracks leading to Sassafras Gully, Clarinda Falls and Birdwood Gully.
If you're into history there's Sir Henry Parkes Grave, The Prime Ministers' Corridor of Oaks and the Norman Lindsay Gallery all within a few minutes drive.
There's a lovely tea shop 10 minute's walk away. It's a five minute drive to Springwood shops and cafes, and an easy 10 minute walk to the train station. There are hourly services to Sydney, Katoomba or Bathurst. 90 minutes to Sydney by train or 75 (ish) by car.
