We are a retired teacher and engineer, neat clean and tidy with a happy, positive outlook on life. Living on the waterfront is quiet and relaxing and allows us views of sunsets over the nearby mountains. Non smokers. We've enjoyed multiple house swaps, (10 so far ) both here and overseas and have made some lovely friends.

At the Northern end of the Gold Coast with panoramic views of the canal and up to Mt Tambourine, we own a near new, modern very livable home. The home is double insulated with ducted air conditioning so always comfortable year round. There is a heated spa on the back deck overlooking the canal. Our home is about half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast Airports in Queensland, Australia about 40 minutes to either.
There is a single kayak, life jackets are provided.
Due to insurance conditions the boat is not available.
A vehicle may be available for swaps.
There are two master bedrooms, one on the waterfront and the other is situated in the front of the house for privacy. Walk in dressing rooms and fully tiled en-suites for both rooms. The kitchen is fabulous, modern, stainless steel with granite bench tops, large oven and gas cook top.
The lounge/media room has another flat screen smart TV so YouTube, Netflix etc all available
Large smart screen TV and stereo are in the family room that also overlooks the canal. A gas BBQ is on the deck. along with a tiled alfresco area with fans, comfortable lounges and a large outdoor dining area. The 3rd bedroom has two single beds including a king single. The bathroom consisting of a large bath with private garden and separate toilet is adjacent. A remote controlled garage with security gates completes the home. Latest camera security system too.
The property is fully fenced with child proof gates so it is safe for little ones.
We have Grandchildren so some toys and DVD's are available.
The Coomera river is a fabulous resource with the Broadwater and hundreds of islands to explore. Fish and crabs have been caught from the pontoon.
While we have no pool, there is a heated spa and a fabulous council pool complex only minutes away with dedicated kids areas and a 25mtr pool.

This was a fantastic family getaway. The house is better than the photos. It's super spacious and with a tv in the media room that must be at least 5 metres in length (that's what my kids think anyway). It's in an amazing location - the canal provides a lovely view and the kids and my wife went for a paddle in the canoe. The home is only 10 minutes or less from Movie World and Wet n Wild and Dreamworld. Lots of eateries around and about 1 million things to do. Best getaway ever in an amazing home. And Louey the dog was a total delight who is still missed by us. Brian was a champion with communication. Could not rate any higher.

Brian and Barb home was perfect and in an amazing holiday location - Gold Coast. Close to theme parks, shopping centres, DFO and a short stroll you are at a off lease dog park. After a long day at the theme parks we were able to come home and relax on the deck over looking their magnificent water way. Their home is in a secure and friendly location, our fur baby made heaps of friends during our stay. Brian, Barb and Louey (fur baby) left our home clean and tidy. Thanks for a great houseswap

Brian and Barb's house is perfect for a swap. A very comfortable home where we very much enjoyed the canal and mountain views, the outdoor living, spa, kayak, easy going dog Charlie, and modern facilities. Well organised and easy to live in. They were very generous in the arrangements with their car, allowing us maximum flexibility to explore Gold coast hinterland and beaches for our holiday. They cared for our house as if their own. Thanks for a successful house swap. Would swap again with them without hesitation.
