Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Sydney, Zetland, NSW
We are a family of four - my husband works in banking - and is a keen surfer - and I run a design business from home. Our children are a 19 year old girl (Arts/Law uni student) and a 17 year old boy (final year school student). We are interested in swapping houses during NSW school holidays, particularly for a beach house. We have already had five very successful swaps and are keen to do more. Please note that we can only travel during NSW Australian school holidays. We have a pet toy poodle who is very simple to care for and the house has a doggie door so she can be left for long periods alone during the day. If you are not able to or don't want to care for her she can go to holiday camp.

Architect designed 3BR terrace house in vibrant central Sydney area!
Our house is a two-level architect designed converted terrace which has been featured in design magazines and TV commercials.
There is a large parents' retreat upstairs and two other bedrooms downstairs.
Bedroom 1:
The main bedroom has a super king sized bed, ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, a walk-in wardrobe and a balcony and air conditioning.
Bedroom 2:
Double bed, desk, built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan.
Bedroom 3:
Single loft bed, desk, built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan.
There are also 2 single Aerobeds (inflatable mattresses).
Bathrooms:
In addition to the main ensuite there are two more bathrooms with showers (one is more of a powder room) plus an outdoor shower on the side deck.
Living areas:
There is a large downstairs open plan kitchen dining living area with heated floors and bifold glass doors opening to the courtyard with gas BBQ and car access. There is also a large upstairs living area used as a study with unlimited WiFi internet and TV room with smart/internet flat screen TV and xbox360. The kitchen is modern with European appliances and a double fridge. The cooktop is gas and the oven is self-cleaning. There is a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, washing machine and dryer. Our cleaner can be arranged during your stay. The house is full of natural light and has great cross ventilation. Our house is in a very convenient and vibrant inner city area but inside it is calm and peaceful.

We are located in Zetland, just around the corner from the Green Square train station and near Danks Street and Redfern and the Alexandria/Rosebery restaurant precincts. Our neighbourhood is very close to the city centre in an area that was once full of warehouses. It is now one of the most vibrant and interesting areas of Sydney and has many great restaurants, cafes and art galleries as well as supermarkets and shops. It also has many beautiful parks and is a short car or bus ride from Centennial Park and some of Sydney's most iconic beaches like Bondi, Maroubra and Bronte. From March 2020 there will be a beautiful aquatic centre at the end of our street. Our area is serviced by frequent buses and trains and is only a couple of stops from the city centre, airport and major theatres and is on a direct train line to the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge (10 mins).
