Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Melbourne, melbourne, VIC
Hi, I’m Kate! I’m 45 and recently moved to Melbourne after many years in Wellington, New Zealand. While I now call Melbourne home, I still own a flat in Wellington and have family in Sydney, so I travel between Australia and New Zealand quite often. I also love exploring new places and am keen to swap homes as a way to experience different parts of Australia (and beyond!). I’m responsible, gainfully employed, and take excellent care of any home I stay in. I'm actually new to this site but I have heaps of experience with house sitting and pet sitting, so I’m very comfortable looking after animals if needed. While I don’t have any pets of my own, I do have a few hardy plants that require minimal care. If you're looking for a reliable, respectful, and tidy guest to swap homes with, I’d love to chat! My flat is awesome and right in the centre of town.

Cozy, quiet, and super central—my one-bedroom flat is right next to Southern Cross Station, so getting here is easy (just hop on the SkyBus from the airport). Even though it's right in the middle of the city, it's surprisingly peaceful, so you get the best of both worlds—Melbourne’s buzz at your doorstep and a chill space.
The apartment is spacious for a one-bedder and comfortably fits two people. One of my favorite things about it is the balcony view over a tennis court—you can kick back and watch people play while enjoying a coffee (or a wine!).
Cafes, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance, and the free trams make it easy to get around. If you’re into sports or live music, Marvel Stadium is just a 10-minute stroll away for footy, gigs, or other events. It’s a great little spot to experience Melbourne!
I dont have a carpark and TBH, parking is kind of tricky around here so just use your feet!
