We are a couple in our forties and have an 8 year old daughter and an 11 year old son. I am a teacher and my husband is an IT consultant. We love good food, rainforest walks, the beach, and discovering new places.

Newly built, our home is spacious with modern, contemporary architectural themes.
Set on ¾ of an acre, with tranquil lake views from rear, and established landscaped gardens with lots of space to wander and play.
Our open plan single level home has cathedral ceilings and air-conditioning.
Expansive, light-filled central living area includes a large open plan premium kitchen and living room with fireplace and polished timber floors. Enjoy casual meals at the kitchen table which comfortable seats 6. Above the kitchen is a mezzanine with desk/home office nook, kids play area and cute cubby.
The living room seamlessly flows to a north facing undercover deck with a delightful, leafy outlook, and outdoor table that seats 8.
Outside in the garden, overlooking the lake, there is a cosy fire-pit to toast the good life with a glass of bubbles under the stars.
Great flow and separation with a private master bedroom with ensuite including oversized bath and separate shower; plus open air walk-in-wardrobe.
There are two additional bedrooms (one king single with trundle bed, one with single bed and spare single mattress); and the family bathroom with shower.
Enjoy privacy in the separate self-contained granny flat / office with queen bed, home office, and large ensuite, reliable broadband/wifi makes this an ideal spot for working remotely.
Car accommodation for two vehicle in a locked garage with plenty of additional parking spaces.
Our garden is a haven for birds with many of the 100+ species of the area visiting our gardens throughout the year. Our neighbours are friendly and helpful, but privacy is assured.
Lots of spaces to run and explore. You could even have a game of cricket!
We do not allow smoking in the house.

Maleny is a charming village town in South-East Queensland, perched in the hinterland high above the Sunshine Coast, with amazing views to the Glasshouse Mountains.
Only 35 minutes to an array of stunning beaches including Caloundra, Mooloolaba and Maroochydore, 60 minutes drive to Noosa, and only one hour and twenty minutes drive to Brisbane.
Surrounded by rolling green hills, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of wide open spaces. An easy 2.5km walk along a designated pathway (or 4 minute drive) to the bustling village of Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, you will find all of the essentials: IGA and Woolworths supermarkets, plenty of cafes, bakery and butcher, post office, pilates and yoga studios, op shops, restaurants, pub, brewery and wine bar, pharmacy and doctors.
There are alternating weekly markets (Maleny, Witta, Montville, Mapleton) where you will find local produce, artisan galleries and great coffee and takeaway. You'll love the relaxed country style of 'range living'.
Take a scenic drive amongst the hinterland and explore the neighbouring villages of Montville, Mapleton and Flaxton.
Maleny Bird World, Mary Cairncross Reserve, and Gardners Falls swimming hole are all only a 5 minutes drive. Kondalilla Falls and other stunning bush/rainforest walks are only a 20-30 minute drive away. Explore and climb some of the nearby Glasshouse mountains.
Australia Zoo is only 15 minutes by car where you can meet some Australian wildlife and of course, crocodiles!
A day at the beach provides numerous options.
Stunning beaches (Moffat Beach, Dickie Beach, Bulcock Beach, Mooloolabah, Maroochydore) are 35 minutes drive, or if you drive 60 minutes to Noosa w you can explore the natural beauty of Noosa National Park. You might just spot dolphins, turtles and whales (in the right season).
For golfers, you are just 5 minutes from Maleny Golf Club with Coolum, with Twin Waters, Noosa Springs, Peregian Springs all within a 60 minute drive.
Landsborough train station is only 15 minutes drive if you feel like hoping on a train to Brisbane.
The Sunshine Coast airport is 40 minutes drive away, and Brisbane International airport is 1hr and 10 mins.
