House Swap with us

We are a recently retired couple that have been living on the Sunshine Coast for the past 12 years. We both enjoy the outdoors and look forward to remaining active into our retirement. We have two children, both married and two grandchildren. Whenever we have stayed in a place that is not our own home, we have always treated it with the outmost respect and care. We have a strong appreciation of family and good health.

The House

Four bedroom low set home in a very quiet street and suburb. We have excellent neighbours and really enjoy the privacy and peaceful environment. Our home has recently been renovated with all modern appliances, fully air-conditioned and amenities including an in ground pool. Yard and pool are fully maintained by contractor as part of longer term swap arrangement.

The things we love about living here

Our home is a 20 minutes walk to the Pumicestone Passage with kilometres of walking and cycling paths (Local bike hire at Golden Beach). Living at Pelican Waters Caloundra means you are only minutes by car to Coles and Woolworth shopping Centre, cafes and other amenities situated at the Pelican Waters Shopping Centre, Golden Beach and Caloundra. Maroochydore and Mooloolaba the busy tourist locations are approximately 20-30 minutes by car north of Caloundra with Noosa and Brisbane within an easy one hour drive. Near by we have Kings and Dicky Beaches if you want to experience local surf beaches. Major local health services including the Sunshine Coast University Hospital are within 15 minutes of Pelican Waters.

The Location

Sunshine Coast is a major tourist destination during summer and public holidays, having major tourist attractions, with serene coastal natural beauty. We reside very close to most facilities including beaches, cafes, doctors, pharmacies and shops. There are attractions and locations to suit all ages and desired levels of physical activity.
