We are a couple in our 60's recently retired from work in Finance and IT software development. Our adult children live in Melbourne and we have 1 grandchild now. Our interests include travel, culture and food experiences both in Australia and overseas.

The House

Our home is in an apartment complex (Level 13) in North Melbourne (3km to NGV, MCG and CBD). We face North looking across to Royal Melbourne hospital and Royal Park.
We have 3 bedrooms with QS beds in 2 and the 3rd set up as office space. Airconditioning in all 3 rooms. 2 bathrooms, 1 contains our laundry units too.
Undercover carpark for 1 medium sized vehicle. NOT space for large 4WD or dual cab Utes.
There is a bus opposite our block taking you to CBD. Metro rail station 500 meters walking & tram about the same distance in opposite direction.

The things we love about living here

Close to everything including good cafes, supermarkets, medical centre. Interesting walks in all directions. Quiet complex due to our considerate neighbours.

The Location

North Melbourne has a nice vibe, not too ritzy but has good cafes and a small brewery nearby. We are spoilt for public transport here including bus at our door, train and trams 5 minute walk. 2km to Melbourne Zoo, National gallery, theatres and shopping.
Located a 90 min drive to Bellarine Peninsula (Surf Coast beaches), Yarra Valley (wineries and bushwalks), less to Dandenong Ranges (beautiful national parks & gardens).
