New here. I’m a Steiner teacher about to relocate to Melbourne to teach in Abbotsford. My 18yo son and his friend are with me. They are studying Sports Business and playing AFL.. u18s.. next year senior footy.. I’m here to help support them in their dreams and also to explore and experience a new city. I’ve travelled around the world and think that Port Macquarie, where I call home, is one of the loveliest, cruisiest places I’ve ever been to. My house is freshly renovated and rented out on Air BnB with really lovely reviews. I would love to arrange a house swap for a year.. but happy for a school term at the very least, so I can get accustomed to a big city change. Our house is relaxed, comfortable, quiet, beachy and backs on to the Koala Hospital. You can literally see koalas from the backyard at times.. next to a National Park, with historic Roto House, which is now a beautiful parkland cafe and museum. A five minute or so walk to clean and fresh Flynn’s beach and shops and cafes. You won’t want to leave. PMQ is said to have the best climate in Australia. Halfway between Sydney and Byron Bay, without all the hype.. Pls get in touch if you are interested in a fresh, modern, organic sea change in a comfortable, clean renovated beach house ..

Fruit trees in the garden.. bananas, lemonades, olives, fejoias, grapes and guavas galore.. tranquil and quiet, with only a short walk to the beach, you won’t want to leave! All backing onto the Koala Hospital (see koalas from the grass backyard), and next to the historic Roto House, which is now a cafe called Home at Roto.. they often have small acoustic gigs in the garden, poetry evenings and curry nights, and art exhibitions.. all within a 2 min walk..
