This unit is walking-distance from The South Brisbane train station, South Bank parklands and tonnes of great restaurants. Handy, is what I would call it.
With a swimming pool and gym at the premises this cosy unit would be ideal for those who are looking for an inner-city holiday.
Whether you are looking for cultural experiences or just after a romantic getaway with your significant other. This place has it all within walking distance! GOMA, The convention centre, the state library, and the performing arts centre are within a few blocks from this unit.
Alternatively, you can cross the river on the newly built pedestrian bridge and you emerge at the new Casino.

Mario's place was lovely and modern, and could have easily taken the family as there was so much space. We really enjoyed our trip to Airlie Beach which really is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. We didn't have a vehicle but Mario's place is conveniently located in Cannonvale, we walked to the beach and harbour for a sunset picnic, walked to town exploring on the way, easily caught the local bus to meet our Reef Tour, hired a scooter for a few days which was lots of fun and even found the Airlie Beach Hotel complimentary shuttle bus would take us home after a fun dinner and drinks. Mario was lovely to deal with and shared his home generously, we are so grateful for our fantastic holiday with no accommodation costs!

Mario was very accommodating and always replied to my messages within a very short period of time. Mario's house was very modern, clean and very well located. We did a non-simultaneous swap that allowed us to visit at a time that worked very well for both of us. We enjoyed cooking in a state of the art kitchen as well as dine out at the local pub with a courtesy bus to pick us up or drop us off. We often walked into Airlie Beach or to the supermarket close by. This area is one of the most beautiful places in Australia and one of my favourite.

Mario and Lindas' home in the beautiful Whitsundays was a fabulous home swap. They were so accommodating, with excellent communication prior and throughout the home swap. The home is stunning and extremely well appointed, modern and spacious with a beautiful outlook overlooking a native Australian Rainforest canopy of eucalyptus trees and ferny hill. The art work (which is Linda's) is absolutely stunning. The location is a 2 minute drive into Airlie beach, a 1 minute drive to Abel Marina and a 6 minute drive to the Port of Airlie. There is a supermarket about a 2 min drive or 10 minute walk from the home. The location is excellent. I swapped homes with Mario and Linda for 10 days and it was honestly one of the nicest breaks I have had, being able to do daily walks along the beach (with their gorgeous dog charlotte) that I offered to take care of while I was staying was a true highlight. The home swap was perfect, from the key exchange at the airport to coming home to find my home in mint condition. I would highly recommend a home swap with this wonderful couple.

My two weeks stay at Cannonvale over December'22 / January'23 was great, I could not have asked for more. Mario and Linda have a fabulous modern home, very comfortable, spacious, light filled. Easy access to several beaches and the Airlie Port for ferries to the islands, plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and shopping. A drive to Bowen is 30-40 minutes away and worth the trip. I had the good fortune to meet Mario and Linda prior to the swap, a lovely couple and over a few wines we exchanged plenty of recommendations and advice for our respective suburb and surrounds. I had no doubt that I would return to my home and find it as I had left it, neat and tidy, which is what I returned too. I would not hesitate to recommend this comfortable home in a lovely area for a successful house swap - ten out of ten!
