Hello! My name is Xin. I am in my 50s, living with my son Leo. We had three very successful house and car swap a few years ago. While still working, I want to spend more time travel and experience different places. We love nature, different cultures, food, music and bush walking. We are lucky living in beautiful Blackmans Bay, 5 minutes walk to the beach to enjoy morning walks and coffee, watching waves and surfing, sometimes we are lucky to see dolphins and whales. I enjoy keeping home tidy and beautiful. We are respectful and will look after your home as ours.

The House

Spacious home in beautiful Blackmans Bay, 2 blocks from the beach.

Our house is 2-storey with lounge, dining and kitchen on ground floor, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms upstairs.

Large garden with fruit trees and many flowers. There is also a swimming pool for brave Tassie temperature swimmers.

Reminder: There is no bathrooms on ground level- two toilets are upstairs.
Unavailable space: the office on ground level; and 1 bedroom upstairs which I use for personal storage during house swap.

The things we love about living here

Very private and beautiful location, so close to the beach foreshore walks yet only 15 minutes drive to Hobart CBD where one can enjoy the famous Salamanca Saturday market and Sunday farmers market, music, galleries, museums, theatre, cafes and restaurants, and sailings from the waterfront.
Also conveniently 5 minutes walk to public transport option. It only takes 5 minutes walking to the Hill Street Grocer for high quality fresh produce in Bayview Market. There is also a pharmacy and a post office and a few eateries within the market complex; or a short 5 minutes drive to main shopping center in Kingston.
A leisure foreshore walk through Boronia Reserve to Kingston beach where there are more energy in water activities such as sailing, kayaking or swimming.
Blackmans Bay is on the gateway to explore the beautiful southern Tasmania including Bruny Island, national parks in southern Tasmania, Huon valley apple growing and agricultural areas.
