My name is Geoff and my wife is Yvone. We are aged 67 and 61 respectively. We both still work but are quite close to retiremnent, perhaps 2 more years. We have 2 properties available Our main property is single storey 2 bedroom property on a large block of land in a culled sac ample parking and very open There are direct train routes from the neares railway station. A 15 minute bus ride to the station or even shorter if by car The train to the city is about 40 minutes Very easy to get around and we drive on the same side as UK Our property does have my in-laws living in an attached property and have UK heritage they are 82 an 84 and are vey independent and have all of their own facilities. This property has everything needed ample nbn tv streaming A pool is also available We have a second property (holiday home) in the Hunter Valley about 2.5 hours north west of Sydney about 1 hour from Newcastle This property is a 2 bedroom cottage located in a vineyard in the Pokolbin region and is completely private A vehicle is needed to get around, rural and one of Australia’s prime wine regions Either property would be available

Our home located in the Hunter Valley region of NSW is a 2 bedroom cottage located in a closed gate community within a vineyard. Vines grow across part of our property. They are maintained, picked and processed by the community collective. Owners can voluntarily participate but generally we do not.
The estate consists of 120 acres comprising of 90 separate properties maintaining a rural atmosphere.
The estate has a tennis court, lots of walking/cycling options a beautiful lake which is used to draw water for watering the vines and also a one hole golf tee off.
The house itself is low maintenance, very well maintained, the plot is flat and maintenance of the lawns can be arranged.
The best time of year for the region is March to December. If you don’t mind the heat then January and February. Much of Australia is hot then.
The region is prime country for vineyards and one of Australia’s most popular. We use the property as a holiday home and spend almost every second weekend there as well as holidays (we both work in schools).
