The southern end of the Gold Coast has the most beautiful beaches perfect for a warm, coastal family holiday.
Surfers paradise and theme parks are a 30-45min drive and Brisbane a 1hr drive north.
Tugun has lots of food shops and restaurants as well as palm beach to your north 10mins and Coolangatta to your south 10mins. Coolangatta features some of the best surfing spots in the world.
With many activities to do including mountain bike tracks, a local wildlife sanctuary and various walking tracks.
