We are Ian and Andrea. Mostly retired. We love to travel. We have a well positioned unit in Southbank, Brisbane. We have family at the northern end of Sunshine Coast (Cooroy, Noosa, Tewantin) and Wondai (Kingaroy and surrounds), so we would be happy to swap there anytime. We also love to have drive holidays in Australia, so happy to be surprised with any location. We have swapped many times before (within Australia and overseas) with our previous homes.

The House

3bdrm, 2 bathrooms, plus media. The unit currently sleeps 6, however one bedroom could accommodate additional cot/s or mattresses on the floor. Located in the centre of Southbank. Access to pools, beach, playgrounds, QPAC theatre, GOMA (Gallery of modern Art), Queens Wharf, City Botanic Gardens. Short free ferry ride to Eagle St and Howard Smith Wharves. 20 min walk to city centre, or catch the bus or train, just 2 mins walk away.

We have an underground car park available. Unit is fully air conditioned, has Nespresso coffee machine and separate laundry. Main bathroom has bath as well as walk in shower.

The things we love about living here

Southbank is the cultural centre of Brisbane. We love visiting the art galleries and theatre. There is a cinema across the road. There are many restaurants and a weekend market just downstairs. It is an easy walk to West End or you could catch the free bus there. There is a Woolies two minutes away and a Vintage Cellars across the road. Our grandkids love Southbank’s beach, pools and playgrounds. There are beautiful walking and cycling paths connecting Southbank to the city, the botanical gardens and other locations. This is a great location for a family holiday or a cultural getaway.
