My husband is retired and I am in my 50's. We lived in Byron Bay for many years and have recently moved a little further up the Coast. I had my own holiday agency in Byron Bay for many years and have looked after lots of homes, big and small and am happy to care for pets. We are well travelled and are excited about going to places (both in Australia and overseas) that we have never been. Our Son lives in Sydney so we are always happy to visit Sydney!

Our home is located right on the beautiful Tweed River near Barneys Point.
The home is elevated with stunning river views and has been recently renovated with high quality furniture and furnishings and ducted AC and solar.
You'll enjoy the exceptional views from the open plan lounge, kitchen and patio which has a 6 seater dining table and day bed so you can watch the sunset and the birdlife - there is a pelican sanctuary directly across the water on Lilly's Island so the birdlife is spectacular.
The renovated kitchen has everything you would need - Smeg Oven, induction cooktop, pantry and fridge with filtered water. There is also an espresso coffee machine if you are a coffee lover!
There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed & ceiling fan and the Master Bedroom has a King bed, ceiling fan, WIR and ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity.
There is also a separate office and lounge located in the loft style attic which is accessed via a ladder - easy for most people but it may not suit some.
All high quality linen and towels are provided.
There is only a small outdoor patio so does not suit small children or pets but we are happy to look after a pet at your place if needed (we love dogs!).

We are located right on the beautiful Tweed River and are very close to Barneys Point.
It is a short drive to Coolangatta to the North and about 45 mintues to Byron Bay to the South. Its an easy trip to the Gold Coast as well.
There are plenty of beautiful beaches in both the Tweed and Byron Shires as you drive down the Coast - Fingal is our favourite and we swim there every day.
