Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Belmont, GEELONG, VIC
We are a family of four who are eager to enjoy some low key adventures! ☺️ My name’s Michelle, and I’m a photographic artist and educator. My partner Francis is an electrician with a passion for golf, and our kids are Sylvie (10) who’s a total bookworm, and Augie (8) who is obsessed with Minecraft. We have a groodle named Rosie (she’s 4) and two ginger cats whose names are Tess and Alfie. Happy to for house + pet swaps (we love animals!), or to find places for our pets to stay while you're visiting, if you aren't open to pet sharing.

Spacious and relaxing 3 bedroom home to comfortably sleep a family of 6.
Our home is a 3 bedroom brick build, lovingly built in the 90s. The previous owners were ahead of their time and chose concrete flooring, and the home still has some of the endearing features of the period, such as exposed brick and raw timber trims.
We've owned the place a little over a year now, and are taking our time settling into the home, as we decide on the best ways to add our own style and bring her into the twenties.
So far we've added a skylight in the kitchen which has completely transformed the main hub of the home; the kitchen (which is equipped with all the modern conveniences - coffee machine, dish washer, and large oven cooktop) has a large island at its heart, perfect for gathering and preparing meals, and now that space is flooded with beautiful light at all times of the day and year.
The home has two main indoor living areas - a family room, which is spacious and expansive and is where we watch movies on the (very indulgent) 74 inch television (and where the kids practice their cartwheels!), and a sitting room in the front of the home, which is where I enjoy my morning cuppa in the sunshine that streams in (this is also where we watch tele when the back room is overtaken with the kids and their cousins!).
We also have a large undercover area outside, and this is where we eat most meals in the warmer months. There's a picnic table out there, as well as a hammock and seated hammock for relaxing, and 2 swings for the kids. The backyard also has a Vuly trampoline.
The master bedroom of the home is at the front of the house and gets beautiful light all morning, and has an en suite fitted with toilet and shower.
The two other bedrooms both have bunk beds, so each comfortably sleeps 2 (so 4 kids in total). These bedrooms are situated in what we (jokingly) call the 'kids wing', which is where the second toilet and bathroom (with double sized shower and bath) are located.
It's a humble home but very comfortable and super liveable, and a perfect base for venturing along the Great Ocean Road, as well as visiting Torquay, Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, and the rest of the Bellarine Peninsula.

Geelong is a laid-back coastal city, blending history with a modern, relaxed vibe. The waterfront is a highlight, with its famous Bollard Trail of quirky painted figures that tell stories of the city’s past. Eastern Beach is a local favourite, offering a classic Art Deco swimming spot and a long promenade for lazy strolls. Geelong also has its cultural side, with the National Wool Museum reflecting its wool trade heritage, and the Geelong Gallery showcasing Australian art. Just beyond the city, the Bellarine Peninsula offers wineries, surf spots, and seaside villages. Geelong is also the perfect gateway for a drive down the iconic Great Ocean Road.
