House Swap with us

We are a professional couple seeking to get a bit more mobile. We can both run our businesses from anywhere and, with our daughter living in Adelaide studying Musical Theatre, and 18yo son heading off for a working holiday in Canada - there's little reason to stay in Perth. We are long-standing Air BNB hosts and enormously respectful of other people's properties when we travel. We'd love to spend the summer in Adelaide this year, close to our daughter, while our son is away.

The House

Large 2-storey family home a couple of blocks from the beach in Perth's elite western suburbs. We are at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with a reserve as our neighbour - so the house looks out over bushland to our east. Separate self-contained granny flat, and lush outdoor areas with pool. Car available. Also, our family farm in Balingup is available for your use - two houses for the price of one! Its a modest but cosy 3-bed cottage on 50 acres, with forest, creek and huge deck overlooking valley and hills. Previously our home, the farm has been our weekend retreat while we have been in the city with the kids at school.

The things we love about living here

City living but feels like the country.
Beach at the end of the street - swimming and surfing. Popular for kite-surfers too.
Short walk to Floreat or City Beach.
2.5km to the cafes, bars, nightlife of Scarborough.
Great walk/bike paths along the beach for miles in both directions - great for skating, scooting, exercising or dog-walking.
Excellent hospitality offer all along our beaches from Trigg to Fremantle.
Perth is superb for holidaying - Rottnest, Swan Valley, Fremantle, and southern beaches, forests and wine-growing regions.
3-hour drive to our farm in Balingup. Google it - gorgeous tiny country town in the Blackwood Valley, an hour inland from Margaret River.
