Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in VICTORIA POINT, Bayside Brisbane, QLD
Hi. We are a couple who like to travel when we can spare the time. Currently much of the time I will swap solo as currently my husband is living in Melbourne for work. I am interested in long weekends nearby. For longer swaps, 7-14 days, open to ideas. Near airport locations preferably. Car swap would also be preferable if flying. For swaps of 7-14 days, we need time to organise leave etc, I have 2 cats - Jasmine and Esmeralda. I would love it if you are cat people, and would like to look after them as well. They are very well behaved cats. Two sides of the house are cat enclosed as council regs are cats are not allowed off the property.

Linda and I had a fantastic and very relaxing time at Liane's newly refurbished home in Blackman's Bay. Indeed, the visit started on the right foot with the smooth car pickup, recoding of the front door lock to numbers we could remember and even the yummy chokies left for our arrival at the house. Thanks Liane! Liane was very helpful with suggestions about orientation, possible outings and nature walks, to mention just a few. We will certainly be 'borrowing' some of her great ideas to spruce up our home survival guide for our next swap guests. Liane's home is very comfortable and tastefully furnished, plus cosy and warm for a Tassie winter. It stands in a spectacular piece of natural landscape with views out to the bay and even better with a walk down to the water. We met some of the neighbours, who were all very friendly. When we returned, our home had been left precisely as we left it, so ta for that. Overall, a great experience that has set the house swapping bar at a really high level.
