We are a couple in our mid to late 40's with a beautiful little girl named Akira who has just turned 2. I'm Shelley, a social worker and Luke is a heating and cooling mechanic. We love to travel in our caravan around Australia, however, would love an overseas trip in 2026 to celebrate my 50 years around the sun. Our baby girl has a rare metabolic deficiency and needs to be on a strict keto diet making it hard to travel to places like Asia which we love. So we are looking to go somewhere in Europe where we know the food will be similar and the hospitals good, just in case. We love all the things about travel such as nature, the arts, different cultures and cuisines and meeting the locals to hear their stories.

The home is a beautiful old Edwardian period home in the best suburb of Bendigo. It has 5 bedrooms, however 1 is full of stuff! It has leadlight windows throughout, ceiling rose and other period features, that together with my quirky styling makes it full of character. It has a park right accross the road and it is a 10 minute walk to the train station which has you in Melbourne CBD in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Bendigo received an award this year as the most desirable town to visit in Victoria. There are a lot of other beautiful town close by such as Castlemaine, Kyneton, Malmsbury and Daylesford to visit whilst staying in the region. There is beautiful restaurants, art galleries, wineries and nature activities in the region to keep you busy on your stay.
You can best rest assured we will treat your home as we do our own, with care and respect. We are clean and tidy people and will leave your home as we found it, if not, better!
Also we have a very good hybrid van we could lend you if you wanted to travel on your stay. It has one king bed, one double and a king single. Food for thought!
