My son and I are based in Ballina, a stone's throw from beautiful Byron Bay in Northern NSW. We love to travel and are hoping to get to the UK and Europe this year or next, to visit family and friends.

The House

We live in an airy, light-filled, first level apartment in a quiet part of town. It's a homely space, styled with modern and vintage pieces, and equipped with all mod cons. Features a cosy lounge which flows out to the northerly balcony, and a newly renovated kitchen. The main bedroom includes a comfy queen bed, wardrobe railing and plentiful shelving. There is also a dedicated workspace with power/usb points, and a printer. All the convenience of modern appliances, including Smeg coffee machine, water filter, projector, whisper quiet ceiling fans, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer.

The things I love about living here

Ballina is a small coastal town, with plenty of cafes, supermarkets and shops. A central hub for buses, taxis plus a small airport.
Everything is very accessible. We live 5 minutes walk from the water, and 3 minutes drive to town. 20 minutes drive to Byron. 10 minutes from Ballina airport, and an hour from Coolongatta airport on the freeway.
We're spoilt with endless beautiful coastline, surf beaches, safe swimming spots, bush walks, waterfalls and excellent fishing.
