Ken is a retired police officer Helen is a retired hotistic therapy lecturer We have two grown up children and 4 grandchildren We both enjoy gardening , arts and crafts and Ken enjoys woodwork. Helen enjoys sewing. we have a touring caravan which we love using to visit other places in the UK We have a property in france that we use in the summer months A non similtaneous swap is perfect for us as during the spring summer or autumn our house can be made available.

We have a cottage style end of three terrace houses.
Our house has three bedrooms. two of which are available as a house swap
We have an ensuit shower room and a main bathroom. There is a cosy lounge with a fire place with a realistic gas fire We have a large living space of a large kitchen, a dining area and living area. A utility room with laundry facilities
There is a small lawned area to the rear of the house with a patio for alfresco eating and a glass of wine.
To the side we have raised beds for soft fruit and fruit trees and a herb garden.
to the front of the house we have a large drive for a number of cars . The front garden has flower beds and apple trees to the front

Ken and Helen were generous and thoughtful hosts. We felt we knew them well as we had planned the exchange across a number of months and had chatted on facetime. So it was no surprise that we felt welcome and we appreciated being met by Ken aat Huntingdon rail station and transported, luggage and all to their Hilton home. As well as local village walks there are plenty of enjoyable local attractions with in easy driving distance of Hilton. Having a car to drive greatly increased our flexibility . And we were especially appreciative of Ken's prompt action when the car we were using needed servicing. We were provided with a replacement car. Special thanks Ken and Helen. We enjoyed our stay. We look forward to returning Ken and Helen's hospitality when they visit us in Australia in March 2025.
