Mac and I are a retired air traffic controller and a retired teacher in our 70`s. Having spent many years living between Australia and the UK, we moved from Sydney to Nelson in NZ last year and are always keen on swaps back to Sydney. Currently looking for the month of March 2024 Mac is an accomplished armchair sportsman. He belongs to a very active walking group here in Sydney, and is great at the cryptic crosswords! I like to paint, read, walk, and swim. We both play bridge and enjoy walking to the local cinema, or going to the theatre. We have done over 30 (lost count) fantastic house exchanges over a similar number of years, and have met some wonderful people on the way, and we are looking forward to continuing what has become a wonderful way of travelling.

Our Summer Terrace , craftsman-built cottage-style townhouse is set in Monaco Village, with landscaped English gardens with resort style facilities on site. The cottage is double glazed, has a new kitchen and flooring and some special touches, gas fire and heaters. There is a peaceful courtyard off the lounge to the rear, overlooking a pretty creek, with established planting and north facing sunshine.
This is two level living with one huge bedroom and a luxurious bathroom with a spa bath and twin shower upstairs. The washing machine is also housed in the bathroom.
Designed to replicate an English village this is a very appealing complex with with homes built from hand-made bricks and with shingle-roofed porches and carriage lights. With party walls hand-plastered over concrete block; you have the solidity of permanent materials, thermal mass for cool summers and warm winters and acoustic qualities to make for a quiet, peaceful home.
