Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Glen Iris, Melbourne, VIC
We’re a close and active family of 7, however there are occasions when not all of us need to be accommodated by a house swap. Our Groodle (Freddy) loves people and can either stay at our place or with friends during your stay. We are originally from NSW, and our adventures have seen us live in Brisbane, Melbourne (twice), Hong Kong and Germany. The Northern Beaches of Sydney are among our favourite places. We enjoy beach holidays, experiencing nature at unpowered camp sites and visiting family in regional and rural NSW. We’d love to do a coastal house swap somewhere from Sydney’s Northern Beaches through to Newcastle, and coastal areas of Victoria are great options too. We will also be up for other locations at times. We’d love to give you a great experience of our home, so that you can be as pleasantly surprised as us by everything that Melbourne has to offer!

We created a home where families can enjoy great times together - tennis court, heated pool, cabana & gym equipment, covered bbq area, 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, central heating and aircon, WiFi and TV’s. Above all else, it is "homely" and people feel comfortable here, rather than it being a place where things can't be touched or used.
1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 3 single beds and 1 sofa bed. Kids love sleepovers in the cabana on camping mattresses too.
Short walk to cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as various parks and peaceful tree-lined trails for walking, running or cycling.
150 metres to city tram and 600 metres to city train. Both stop at Richmond and the MCG along the way.

Our 15th sucessful house swap with Kevin and family. What a joy this experience has been. We always love exploring new places. The location of Kevin's home in Glen Iris surprised us. It felt so private, like a resort with tennis court, pool and plenty of greenery to allow the city home to feel so cosy but spacious. We enjoyed walks to local shops, but also found incredible park land, bush land, playgrounds and sporting fields so close by. We were surprised it was only 30 mins easy drive to our fave Dandenong Ranges and spent a day at Luna park with the family which was soooo fun. The house was incredible with lux high ceilings and beautiful amenities. We swapped groodles (dogs) which was so nice as Freddy was so gentle. Kevin, Trudy and family left our house so tidy and clean... such a humbling experience trusting each other with our homes. Thank you for a wonderful experience and getaway
