Thank you Paul & Janell for exchanging their apartment from 26/11/2024 to 3/4/2024 with us . Really enjoying the sea view directly from the balcony & the front bed room. With the charming sea breeze, we don't even need the aircon at all . The sunday market, Pelican Park & Sandgate etc are all very handy from the apartment. We even managed to have a lawn bowl game at the Bramber Bay Bowls club during our stay. The apartment is small but unique that is what we like. At night it is so quite and we can only hear the sound of the sea wave till morning

Firstly, our thanks to Paul and Jan for taking care of our home and communicating so well with us. Walking in the door on arrival we knew we would enjoy our time in their lovely Unit, as we walked through to the front balcony there was the amazing water view, we would enjoy for the next fortnight. There is so much to see around the area, we enjoyed many walks, drives and a day in Brisbane, travelling there by train. So many coffee shops to explore, a short walk to Redcliffe to browse the markets, Bee Gees Lane a fun visit while there. Margate has a good local Shopping Centre within walking distance. One highlight was a drive to Bribie Island, on the way visiting Sandstone Point Oyster Shack for lunch, nice Hotel there also. Seafood lunch by the water at Morgan's Seafood, Scarborough, most enjoyable. Aqua Aerobics classes close by at Redcliffe, middle of the day a good time to swim there. Yoga at Woody Point close by. We're grateful to Paul and Jan for the break we so very much enjoyed, a very genuine couple willing to communicate at any time. Kind Regards, Garry & Gai.

We enjoyed two lovely weeks in Janelle & Paul’s lovely apartment in Margate. Communication was great & everything was made easy. We enjoyed lots of wonderful places & activities - from massages to whale watching, Bribie Island bird watching to the Glasshouse Mountains, fishing at the wonderfully set up Woody Point Jetty, (caught a good sized Striped Perch) swimming in heated pools at Redcliffe & Sandgate- loved Sandgate - recommend The Full Moon hotel for meals or coffee etc. Went dancing in Brisbane at Jill’s Jive & picnics in some lovely spots. The apartment was in a very quiet & well maintained block opposite the beach & fabulous boardwalk. The balcony was great for people watching - amazing how many water sports are enjoyed there. We really enjoyed getting to know this area not at all familiar to us.

I had such a wonderful 3 days at Paul and Jan's lovely apartment in Margate Beach. As an ocean lover, it was a delight to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves, and the view was so wonderful, I almost didn't want to go out! There is so much to do in the area. The beach right over the road, miles of walking and cycle paths, markets, restaurants, op shops and beautiful foreshore picnic spots. So much to do - so little time. Paul and Jan were lovely hosts, kind, thoughtful with little treats and helpful. The apartment was immaculate with everything I could need for a relaxing long weekend. I hope we can arrange another swap in the future. Thank you Paul and Jan!

Lovely spot right on the beach at Margate. Perfect holiday house. An easy walk to shops and dining out and markets. We parked the car on the street and walked everywhere for the 3 days. The home is comfy and well appointed.

Paul and Jan are lovely, and patient people. Their "caravan by the sea" is more than that, in my opinion. A beautiful, relaxing space with a stunning view to take in but at the same time a perfect location for a great walk, run or cycle ending with a swim. Lyn Richo

We thank Paul and Janelle for a wonderful stay in their comfortable little unit overlooking the beach. Such a great spot to do as much or as little as you want.
