Deb and Peter were an excellent house swap. Left everything spotless which was greatly appreciated. Would welcome them again. Now I look forward to Melbourne in 2026.

I enjoyed two weeks at Deb and Peter's apartment in Caufield North. The apartment is compact but very comfortably furnished and well-located adjacent to several tram routes, local shops and services and railway stations. The apartment is set up as the owners' pied-à-terre, for short stays when they are in the city. As such, they don't have it set up for full-time living, which may deter some swappers. Specifically, the kitchen is equipped with minimal cooking facilities (an induction hotplate and a toaster oven) and there is no washing machine. However, this is Melbourne and there are plenty of dining options and a coin laundry is located a couple of blocks away, so it's not a significant issue for anyone staying to experience Melbourne. The apartment is light and bright with great air circulation as well as being easy to heat when the weather turns cool, and stylishly furnished in a contemporary mid-century modern style. I found it to be a wonderful base from which to explore all areas of the city. Deb and Peter were a pleasure to deal with and took excellent care of my home, and I have no hesitation in recommending swapping with them.
