Hello we are a married couple with two older teenagers. We live in the beautiful coastal town of Denmark WA, where the forest meets the ocean! Our home is located in the Ocean Beach suburb of Denmark, a 10 minute drive to the town centre, but only a 5 minute drive to the local dog beach, with our local surf beach “ocean beach” just a minute or two more up the road by car. We also are surrounded by beautiful nature trails/walks with varying degrees of difficulty to suit every adventurer. Our home is located in a bushy street and is big, open & spacious. We have a couple of small non-shedding Oodle breed dogs that may or may not need to be incorporated into your stay, depending if they’re joining us on our adventures.

Our home is a 5 bedroom home on stilts, so there is a stairway to navigate to gain entry into the house.
It has Jarrah floors throughout.
Kitchen has a dishwasher, electrics oven with a gas cooktop. The kitchen is equipped with an Airfryer & pod Coffee Machine also.
Heating is via a wood fire, with some small electric heaters for the bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a King size bed with an ensuite.
2nd bedroom has a Queen size bed.
3rd bedroom has a Queen size bed.
4th bedroom has a Queen size bed.
5th bedroom has 2 x King Single beds.
There is a rumpus room with a quirky little pool table in it.
2nd bathroom has a shower with a seperate bath.
Undercover parking for 1 possibly 2 vehicles.

So much to see and do down here. Lots of natural adventures. We also have lots of wineries, breweries, restaurants, cafes etc.
The Tree Top Walk is in Walpole at the Valley of the Giants. The alpaca farm is great for the kids too. There is also places like the Toffee Factory/Good Food Factory, the Cheese factory at Ducketts Mill.
And that’s just a snippet here in Denmark. There’s more to be seen and done in Albany also like going ten pin bowling, go see a movie, lots of other eateries etc as well.

We loved staying at Angela and Brad’s beautiful home in a brilliant location, near great walks and everything Denmark has to offer! Their house is comfortable and spacious, in a peaceful setting with lovely forest nearby; a part of the Bibbulmun track is within walking distance. They are a warm, generous couple and Ang was very open and easy to communicate with before, during, and after our swap. They left our house in superb condition and it was wonderful to come home to everything washed and cleaned! We would highly recommend them as trustworthy and excellent house swappers!

What truly sets swapping with them apart is their being such a kind, conscientious, and caring couple! We had the pleasure of meeting Ange & Brad prior to our house swap which was fantastic as we were both first timers. We connected well and were able to chat through logistics. Their amazing home, with so many rooms and break away spaces, accommodated our extended family comfortably. Everything is so well organised in the house helping us to settle in very quickly. Their home is peaceful and comfortable, set on a large block and perched amongst the tree tops. We enjoyed the fire place on a number of nights, played a lot of pool, and relaxed on the expansive veranda daily. Being able to walk around the corner to the Bibbulmun Track was amazing. Communication between us flowed with ease and we seemed to have so many similar ideas. We absolutely loved our holiday in Denmark and the whole house swap experience and look forward to doing a swap with Ange & Brad again.
