Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Leura , Blue Mountains, NSW
Hello, We are a happy family of 4. My wife and I, and 2 girls aged 11 and 14. We have a family holiday home in Leura that we manage on Air BnB. The house is very warm and cosy and gets outstanding reviews on Air BnB. Old fashioned (in a good way) and oozing charm. It's four bedroom, one bath plus an outside loo. There is WIFI, ducted heating, a lovely garden, and all the mod cons you could ever need. The location is great. Just opposite the 2nd tee on the Leura golf course. It's great for a stroll when the golf has finished. The Faimont hotel is a 2 minute walk away. Great for dining. Leura Village is a 5 min drive and Katoomba is 10 mins. Both great fun and worth a wander. There a literally hundred of bush walks in the area, so do your research to find one that suits. We recommend starting at the golf links lookout, and walking to the Pool of Silome, then up to Leura village (45 mins one way). This is a magical home in the best spot in the Blue Mountains. You'll love it. Most of our Air BnB guests return every year. We are looking to go somewhere for my wife's 50th birthday around August 2023 for 5 nights. Melbourne or Hobart are our preferred.

Leura is the gem in the Blue Mountains crown. It is the most urbane and sophisticated of all the mountain villages. It has lots of excellent cafes, shops, restaurants, tea houses, guesthouses and hotels. It is a 21st century answer to the elegance which characterised so much of the Blue Mountains in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Not for nothing has it been described as a "well preserved Edwardian village". It is easy to spend a day in Leura. You will eat well; enjoy many superb bushwalks beside waterfalls and overlooking the glorious Jamieson Valley; and you will luxuriate in the bracing mountain area. Add to all this an ambience created by tree-lined street and large houses with English and European-style gardens and a visit to Leura is a memorable experience.
