Nestling below Bouddi National Park this home has the best of both worlds : a full view of Broken Bay to watch the boats sailing and people playing or fishing on the sandbanks. To the rear, a mature garden leading into the angophora and spotted gum-filled bush as far as the eye can see. There is an abundance of bird life feeing from the native trees and shrubs, a fish pond, and vegetable patch from which you can take your pick and then have breakfast on the terrazzo under a shady bower.
This 2 storey, 3 double bedroom home is a 4 minute walk to the Palm Beach Ferry wharf and the local café which sells fresh bread and newspapers. 4 minutes the other way and you will reach the park with equipment and public tennis court.
The national park is on our back door with delightful bush walks with unparalleled views of Lion island and the mouths of the Hawkesbury and Pittwater rivers, plus access to Lobster beach. It is possible to walk to 6 beaches from the back gate. The patrolled surf beach is a 6 minute drive away via the cafes and shops of Hardy’s Bay.
This has been our home for over 20 years. It has been well maintained and the gardens are fabulous. We love it but it is not a hotel or show- home.
The drive is steep for the frail and for pushing a stroller.
