Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Kew, Melbourne, VIC
Retired professionals, both Londoners, settled in Australia for 35 years, we return to the UK every year to catch up with families and friends. We are active and enjoy walking - the serious multi-day walks included. One of us is a serious birdwatcher.

Kew has a thriving shopping centre with numerous cafés and restaurants. It is close to the Yarra River with its golf courses and parklands. With wide tree-lined streets and a mix of old and new housing it makes for an attractive suburb. A good public transport system makes the city centre with museums, galleries, clubs, docklands area etc easy to get to and there are many good beaches and safe swimming areas around the bay.

There is 1 endorsement for this house swap member:
Gina and Derrick are friendly, accomodating hosts and we feel lucky that our first swap experience has been so positive. Exchanging keys to cars and homes in person was re-assuring. Their Kew home is supercomfortable and well located for public transport into Melbourne City or for motoway access to the SE country corridor. Between times we rested on their garden deck, took walks, shopped locally for supplies and played an afternoon of golf croquet at the friendly Kew croquet club! We feel we have made new friends with similar interests and would like to keep in touch.
