Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Torquay, Hervey Bay, QLD
We are a retired couple and enjoy travelling. We have a two bedroom self contained unit in Hervey Bay Queensland. The unit is in the Shelly Bay Resort, which has a tennis court, heated pool, underground parking, opposite the beach and restaurants are only metres away. The unit is on the 1st floor and the building has a lift. Hervey Bay is great for walking as the terrain is flat and the walking or cycling path of about 12 klms is at the front of the unit. There is an airport within 10 klms which flies in from most Australian major cities. The average temperature is 25 degrees and the beach can be swam in all year. Major attractions are whale watching and K'Gari (Fraser Island). We are open to swaps and sometimes travel with another couple.

The unit sleeps 4, with a queen bed and two singles. It is right opposite the beach, is in a resort complex with a heated swimming pool. The resort can book all tours and dining is within walking distance. There is a full kitchen and a balcony overlooking the beach. The area is great for walking or bike riding for all ages. The unit has an aircon and laundry.
The shops, supermarket, bakery and pharmacy are a 5-10 min walk. The airport is about 10 klms away and flies in regularly from most Australian cities

We had a great stay at Jennifer's unit right opposite the beach. Bring an Ocean swimmer I love the fact I could wander across the road for my swim. The unit is compact and very well set out with everything you need. Pool lovely on a hot day. Highly recommend this property. Communication was very easy. Unit complex staff were also very friendly. We Hope to stay again.
