Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Howrah, HOBART, TAS
We are a friendly family with three primary school-aged children (6, 9, 11 in 2024). We consider ourselves to be hard-working, trustworthy, responsible and tidy. We promise to look after your home and leave it in the same (or better!) shape than we found it. We have had the most wonderful swaps since signing up a few years ago (also on homeexchange.com)! Our eldest plays competitive tennis, so we often have to travel within Australia for tournaments. We love the beach (warm weather), sports, good food and wine. We recently adopted a 4 year old labradoodle to join our family. She prefers to be at home and would love company when we are away (but we can also make alternate arrangements).

Looking for school holiday or long weekend swaps around Australia (preferably a direct flight from Hobart—also open to other Tasmanian swaps).
Our family home is on the sunny Eastern Shore of Hobart, an easy ~15 minute commute to the CBD by car or public bus. We have four bedrooms, plus an additional downstairs rumpus room with a king-sized wall bed.
Looking out the front, you will see expansive views over the Derwent River and towards Mount Wellington (kunanyi). Sit on the front deck to enjoy some amazing sunsets year round! Our fully-fenced backyard includes an inground swimming pool with solar heating. Kids can play outside with the basketball goal and trampoline. A small park (for younger kids) and walking trail along the foreshore are across the road.
This light-filled renovated family home consists of an open plan living area which captures the wonderful views and a contemporary kitchen with induction cooktop and quality appliances.
The beachside suburb of Howrah is minutes from shops, cafes, gyms, a bowls and tennis club.

Very easy swap - flexible approach and keen to make things work. House was great - lots of space and well equipped. Would definitely swap again.

Liz's place was perfect for our family of five, not only could we enjoy beautiful beach walks and amazing playgrounds, but we were so close to the Hobart CBD and all it has to offer. We had dinner at the night markets, went to the Salamanca markets, visited Mt Field national park and had the most amazing view of Mt Wellington covered in snow. Liz's dog, Franklin was beautiful, we were sad to say goodbye to him, very easy going and the children loved him. Communication with Liz was excellent and the whole swap went off without a hitch. Thank you Liz and family, we hope to swap again in the future.
