We are a couple who loves travelling and exploring the world. Sadeq is an IT auditor and Anette works as a physiotherapist in her own private practise in the back of the house. We have two adult children who have moved out a few years ago. We love the quiet position with the beach at our back yard. Sadeq for long walks, a swim or relaxing by the water, Anette for a swim, surf, kite surf or snorkel.

Our large beachfront house is nestled behind the native bush of the foreshore sand dune. We mostly sit on the large north facing timber deck with in ground pool. We enjoy swimming, surfing and kite surfing or just going for long walks along our white sandy open beach out front, just behind the sand dune. Surf life savers are operating weekends and during school holidays approximately 500 meters in both directions north and south. Currimndi lake close by also invites to try stand up paddle boarding or canoeing and the fish and chips there are always a winner. Backing a nature reserve and bike pathway in our quiet Cul de sac, the house offers everything for an active or relaxed beach holiday on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are situated within 20-30 min drive to most Sunshine Coast attractions.
Downstairs we have a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which opens with a bi-fold door to the outside deck. There is a media room, toilet and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs are 3 extra large bedrooms, two of them with ensuite bathrooms, one with a loft.
One of the upstairs bedrooms also serves as an additional entertainment area.
All bedrooms open to the wrap around balcony with the overhanging roof giving shade to all rooms. All doors and windows are fitted with flyscreens.
The double lock up garage has space for cars, bikes and surfboards. The bike pathway along the house leads all the way to Caloundra or Point Cartwright.

Our house and car swap with Anette in Wurtulla was just fabulous. A wonderful private house with pool next to a conservation area and the ocean, with great bike paths along the coast. Great communication and recommendations to guide our stay. It all went very smoothly! We messaged regularly before, during and after our stay and met briefly over the airport changeover! Anette and family were respectful and left our house in great condition and even watered our plants! We had a wonderful holiday. We are both happy to do it again!
