We are a retired couple who moved to Pottsville 5 years ago to be closer to ageing parents in Brisbane. We have a young family who live in Sydney with a 7 month old who is a delight and a joy and we would love to be able to spend more time with them. Our lives in Pottsville are very ‘uncomplex’ - Tennis and Men’s Shed for David, sewing gardening and bike riding for Meredith and of course lots of long walks on the beach. We have done quite a bit of housesitting but this is the first of us beginning to explore house swaps.

The house is a stand alone 5 year old duplex, with fully reverse cycled air conditioning. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 living areas. There is a secluded patio which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. We are in a cul de sac so traffic is limited.

Pottsville is at the southern end of the Tweed Coast, 25 minutes from the Qld NSW border. The M1 makes travelling to Brisbane easy and the Tweed Coast Way is a scenic drive through Causarina, Cabarita and Kingscliff. Murwillumbah is 17 km to the west and sits at the base of Mt Warning surrounded by sugar cane fields.Sunsets over the mountain can be seen in Pottsville and they are stunning.
