Hi folks, We live in an inner suburb of Brisbane, 10 klms from the CBD,(and 20klms to airport), where you can hub out to the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast or the flower city of Toowoomba, OR, just enjoy the hugh attractions of the city..... Theatre, South Bank, Restaurants, shopping, For shopaholics, we have 2 x DFOs (Jindalee and Hendra) close by and so much more. A bus stop direct to the CBD is 3 x houses away. There is a village shopping centre, restaurants, cafes and the Enoggera Dam- all within easy access. (Sometimes, we travel in tandem with our daughter and her husband as we both have feline families and swap the care of them to allow each time on holidays, though are open to weekends within a reasonable distance) As we are retired, we are free to travel as we wish which is very nice! The area is a beautiful tree friendly one which is off the main access roads and a peaceful hideaway.

A high set home in the Inner western suburbs of Brisbane. It is minutes from the Village shops and 15 mins to CBD , A back deck with a bar-b-que area downstairs and all mod cons makes life easy. There is a double bed ( Downstairs), a double bed (upstairs), a double bed in 2nd bedroom and a camp bed/ i.e. a foldup single bed) can be put in the media room or downstairs lounge.
The house is fully screened with security.
The street is a peaceful retreat at the Mt Coot-tha foothills yet still with easy access to public transport or shopping and Brisbane entertainments.

The Gap is an older suburb of Brisbane with both historical and contemporary features. Young professional families are buying in the area therefore the structure is geared towards comprehensive shopping centres and transport to the city via bus.
However, proximity to nature pursuits is also catered for within a short distance. eg: Enoggera Dan with picnic and swimming facilities is close by.
There is a golf course 5 mins away.
The Village has a number of great restaurants and eateries.
Even a good 'ole' Bunnings is but 5 mins away (not that you would want to use this shop on holidays)
A really top gym just 5 mins away with comprehensive range of modalities.
*Ferry services are a convenient way to view Brisbane from the water. Senior cards accepted.

Elaine was wonderful to swap with. She was really easy to communicate with and made our travel plans easy. Our house was spotless when we returned and we thoroughly enjoyed her beautiful Queenslander and all the location gave us. Would definitely swap again!
