My wife and I have been married for over 25 years. We have 2 adult children who now live elsewhere in Sydney. We came together when we both worked in the IT industry. Our personal focus at home is the garden for my wife and minor to major home improvement projects for me. We both love to travel and have the flexibility to chose to go away at reasonably short notice. House swapping for us has presented the opportunity to go to new places for an extended stay. Only then do you have the time to explore the town, the museums, the galleries, the food places and more. It is so nice to stay in a home compared to a hotel room. Far easier to relax after every daily venture. We respect other peoples home and treat it as we would want our place cared for.

Our house is an early 20th century weatherboard classic. We have retained many original features whilst updating and modernising to provide all the features and comfort one could need. There is a rear living area incorporating the kitchen dining and lounge area. The is also a main lounge for a 2nd place to retreat. Both have 60" screens for evening relaxation. The bedrooms are large with king bed in the main bedroom. This room also has an ensuite bathroom.
The other bedrooms have a queen bed and desk space. The study has a lounge with a fold out double bed if required.
Our rear deck, overlooking the pool is where most of our entertaining is done. Another rear pergola area has a BBQ, large outdoor table setting and puts you in our yard surrounded by green.

Thank you Mark and Jossett for a sensational holiday! Our hosts offer a comfortable, tidy, well situated house 27 minutes by train SW of Sydney Central. Public transport and Opal card (purchased over counter in Central station) took us to all the major tourist destinations on train, tram, bus & harbour ferries for $2.80 per day. While the home had no off street parking, we were not concerned leaving our new car in the front of the house along with many other late model vehicles. It is a quiet street with friendly neighbours. After a gloriously sunny 2 weeks of sightseeing (Watson's Bay, Manly, Cronulla, Clovelly - Bondi walk, Taronga Zoo, Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery and Harbour Lunch Cruise), we returned home to spend a very pleasant evening with Mark and Jossett in Adelaide. Our home and garden are clean and tidy, just as we left them and a very happy pup (thank you for looking after me too .... Archiespoodle ) I think we have another warm AHS friendship!
