Jo's home in Emerald is in a beautiful peaceful location in the Dandenong Ranges. It is extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed for a short stay. It is in a great location to explore the surrounding small towns of the Dandenong Ranges or even the Mornington Peninsula Jo was very easy to communicate with and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Jo, Brian, Kailan and Savannah left our house in great condition. We would not hesitate to recommend Jo and her family to any one wanting to exchange to the Emerald area.

We had a wonderful first swap in the beautiful Emerald. Jo and her family made it all very easy and relaxed and our young kids also enjoyed the experience. Their home was a warm and peaceful place with so much to do in close proximity. Thank you for a great first swap!

We loved staying at Jo and Brian's house and exploring the Dandenongs. We found their home to be very chill - welcoming, clean and inviting. The area is stunningly beautiful and we enjoyed exploring villages, walks, gardens and local growers. We had a fantastic holiday and are thankful that they showed us the ropes for house swapping. Stoked to report that the process was smooth in every way. Blessed to come home to a super tidy house at the end of the swap. Thanks guys - very much appreciate it! Amanda

We've just completed a fantastic exchange with Jo and Brian and their children, Kailan and Savannah. Their house is nestled amongst tall trees and ferns in the heart of the Dandenongs and is paradise for anyone, like us, seeking to relax, de-stress and be surrounded by nature. The area is dotted with gorgeous little towns, with interesting artisan shops, delicious bakeries, cafes and restaurants. We took our twin 14 year old boys and they had a great time picking berries at a farm nearby, visiting the Yarra Glen chocolate factory and ice creamery and going to movies at Belgrave and Ringwood. It was so nice to be able to get them off their computers and into nature! We also spent a couple of days exploring Melbourne. Jo and Brian had swapped cars with us, making it easy to drive to Fern Tree Gully (about 30 minutes), park the car and then catch the train into the centre of Melbourne (about 50 minutes). Driving from their house to the airport took us about an hour. The house itself is lovely and perfect for families. Our boys were especially impressed with the table tennis table and indoor spa :-) We were newbies to the exchange process, but Jo, Brian and the kids had completed previous exchanges and were really well organised which made the swap easy and enjoyable. There was also a file of handover notes and suggestions of places to visit on our arrival which was super helpful and the house was spotlessly clean! I'm really pleased that our first exchange experience was so enjoyable. Thanks so much Jo, Brian, Kailan and Savannah! Krista, Mike, Sam and Jesse.
