Roger’s home was comfortable, cozy and peaceful. We loved sitting out the back and watching the beautiful sunsets in the afternoon. There is lots to do in East Maitland. We enjoyed Maitland park, the art gallery, beautiful walks, Teale cafe, and it was only a 35 minute drive to Newcastle. Roger and Sue left my home exactly how I presented it to them. Everything was clean, tidy and well looked after. I felt very comfortable having them stay in my home. They are lovely people and very easy to communicate with. They even left some books for my daughter and chocolates for me. I would be more than happy to have Sue and Roger stay again.

Enjoyed my weekend in East Maitland ; Roger and Sue's place is located in a good position there ... easy to navigate further exploration inland Hunter Valley with it's historical townships. Sunset coloured skies from the Western window over the elevated deck. The new bathroom was a pleasure, roomy and heated floor tiles! Plenty of space for dining and cooking ...

We had a fabulous time staying in East Maitland for the weekend. We really enjoyed the location: within walking distance to a wonderful healthy café and the infamous Maitland Gaol (such an interesting audio tour), as well as a drive away from some amazing Hunter Valley vineyards. Sue and Roger's communication to organise the swap was excellent and they were so generous with the produce from their amazing garden. They left our house spotless. I can't recommend a swap with them highly enough!

Sue and Roger were great house swappers. We met them the day we swapped as they had agreed to sit for our dog while we were at their house. Their home had the best sunset in East Maitland! The home is comfortable and they made sure there was a single mattress prepared for our toddler. She loved her room with teddy bears and books all prepared for her. Their permaculture garden and bee hives are an inspiration! It was a very successful weekend houseswap. Thank you :)

We had a wonderful week in Roger and Sue's home in East Maitland. We were long time residents before we moved North so knew the area well. We enjoyed the wonderful views overlooking the rich farmlands. Our family came to visit and we ventured to the Hunter Valley Wineries. We enjoyed the new cafes in East Maitland and surrounds. Their house was very comfortable and easy to spend time in. Thank you for the exchange it was great.

Sue and Roger have a lovely home with gorgeous views over Maitland and the surrounding countryside which we enjoyed daily, both on the deck and from inside the beautiful house. Their uncluttered home allowed us space to put our things and make it our own for two weeks. We enjoyed exploring Maitland and hopping on a train to go further afield. We loved meeting the chooks and also the bees- but not so closely. Their honey was a real treat. Sue and Roger were good to work with and we felt everything was clear and thought through. We built a trusting rapport with them quickly which proved to be well founded. We had the pleasure of crossing paths on the last day and enjoying a wonderful Roger cooked meal together. Thanks Dy and Kerrie
