A fabulous nearly new home in Ryde/Putney, Sydney, 20 minutes from the CBD.

With ducted air conditioning throughout, the house has 5 bedrooms (all with ceiling fans) - 4 bedrooms upstairs (master with a king bed, two rooms with a queen bed, one bedroom with a king single bed & trundle mattress underneath) and one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed.

There are 2 large living areas, one upstairs and one downstairs, both with smart TVs (with Netflix), a study and a library (quiet parents room) at the front of the house. Unlimited wifi is available.

There are 3 bathrooms - downstairs a powder room with shower, upstairs the main bathroom and an ensuite to the master bedroom, both with baths and showers.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would expect - we have a Smeg gas cook top and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, double fridge with water dispenser and a great kitchen island which seats 4.

Out the back, we have an in-ground gas heated pool (7m by 4.5m) and large springfree trampoline.

As the girls are getting older, toys have started to disappear a bit, but we have lots of board games, puzzles and other bits and bobs for families.

We spend most of the summer outside on our large covered alfresco terrace with both a lounge area and dining area, outdoor kitchen with a built in BBQ, sink & double fridge.

Car swap is negotiable - we have a Honda Odessey (7 seater) which we would be happy to swap if it is not coming with us!

The Location

We are a short walk (less than 1km) through parkland to Putney Village, with its (4) local cafes, (3) restaurants, a small IGA supermarket, a newsagent, post office and chemist.

Our home is a 5 minute walk to the main bus route into the Sydney CBD, with buses running every 5 minutes and the journey taking between 20 and 30 minutes (depending on traffic). We are also a 5 minute drive to Kissing Point with ferries into town (plenty of free parking at the ferry) - less frequent, but a lovely way to go to town, passing under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and in front of the Opera House (I take the ferry to and from work each day).

Meadowbank train station (with trains to town and the airport) is also less than 2 km away.

Top Ryde Shopping Centre (with 100s of stores including Coles, Woolies, Aldi, Kmart and Big W, plus numerous restaurants and an Events cinema) is a 5 minute drive/15 minute walk away. We are also only a 15 minute drive from Macquarie Shopping Centre (even more shops - more cinemas, an ice skating rink and bowling).

For those who are more active, there are kilometres and kilometres of off-road walking/running/cycling tracks along the riverside (5 mins from our house), from Kissing Point to Parramatta, as well as crossing over the river to Sydney Olympic Park and surrounds, with parks and cafes.
